Save the date for the final conference of the ORION Open Science project on 27-28 September, where we will be sharing achievements and lessons gained throughout the project over the last four years and a half. The virtual final conference is free of charge and open to anyone interested in Open Science practices and discussing its future implications in a national and international context.

Open science is about ensuring research is more collaborative, accessible and transparent for all stakeholders. But how do you effectively engage stakeholders in science and embed Open Science practices in your own institution?

At the heart of the ORION Open Science EU-project is the ambition to open up the way we fund, organise and conduct life science research. During the project lifetime we have developed and tested a wide range of engagement methods, funding schemes, training materials and co-creation activities to engage the public in science. Now it is time to open up and share with you our achievements, tools and lessons learned.

Join the discussions and meet speakers from our partner organisations and representatives from leading national and European organisations like Marta Agostinho, EU-Life, Rachel Bruce, UKRI, Kostas Glinos, European Commission, Peter Rugg-Gunn, Babraham Institute, Ignasi López Verdeguer, "la Caixa" Foundation, Ana Peršić, UNESCO. More speakers will be announced shortly.
