The Babraham Institute

The Babraham Institute (BI) is a publicly funded world-class research institution, with its own, independent research premises near Cambridge in the UK. It employs more than 350 employees in research and administration. It undertakes innovative biomedical research through its 26 research laboratories, grouped into four programmes: Signalling, Immunology, Epigenetics and Nuclear Dynamics, that collectively focus on understanding biological mechanisms underpinning health and wellbeing throughout the lifespan. The Institute is situated at the heart of the Babraham Research Campus which is home to over 60 small to medium sized biotechnology companies.
