Dr Emma Harris, Training Developer at MDC, gave a talk in Birmingham about how Open Science benefits researchers at the Viate event 'Preparing Researchers for an Unknown Future: Cultures, Behaviours & Mindsets'.
The talk established what Open Science is and why it is needed, before explaining how the training developed by the ORION project will use innovative, learner-led, and multi-media approaches to generate enthusiasm for the Open Science movement and establish practical lasting changes to behaviors. Particular focus was paid to how Open Science can benefit researchers' careers.
