The State Festival in partnership with the Max-Delbrück-Centre for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association and the ORION project are bringing science and art together by launching an Open Call for an Artist Residency on the topic of Genome Editing.
As part of the work of the ORION project to create and encourage opportunities to connect science and society an Open Call has been launched for an Artist Residency on genome editing based at a lab in the MDC. The artist who is awarded the residency will work with scientists at the MDC to create an artwork that expresses aspects of genome editing. The finished artwork will be displayed at the STATE Studio Berlin in late 2018. All will be welcome to come and view it.
