Due to the success and popularity of the ORION MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) from last year, an improved version of the course will run again. The ORION MOOC for Open Science in the Life Sciences 2.0 will be live from February 10th 2020. Registration is now open!

Last year the course received five-star reviews and the 2.0 version online course will continue to help researchers to share their science with the world! Easily digestible modules will explore different aspects of Open Science and allow researchers in life sciences to gain a certificate in Open Science.

The MOOC is open for anyone interested in Open Science and will run from February 10th. The course will be run live and moderated by Emma Harris, Luiza Bengtsson, and Zoe Ingram of the ORION training team at the MDC Berlin and Sabine Barthold from TU Dresden

The participants will learn online with interactive elements and multimedia content. The course will run for 6 weeks and is tailored particularly for the life sciences community. Each week will have a specific focus and give an insight into the different aspects of Open Science. There will be modules on Data Management, FAIR Data, Open Access and Publishing, and Science Communication and Public Engagement. See more of the course in our trailer!

The course is live but self-paced for each module and the modules requires approximately 90 mins to 120 mins of time to complete.
