The registration for the ORION MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) for Open Science in the Life Sciences has now opened. This brand new online course will help researchers to share their science with the world! Easily digestible modules will explore different aspects of Open Science and allow researchers in life sciences to gain a certificate in Open Science.

The MOOC is open for anyone interested in Open Science and will run from October 21st. The course will be live streamed and moderated by Luiza Bengtsson, Emma Harris, and Zoe Ingram of the ORION training team at the MDC Berlin and Sabine Barthold from TU Dresden

The participants will learn online with interactive elements and multimedia content. The course will run for 6 weeks and is tailored particularly for the life sciences community. Each week will have a specific focus and give an insight to the different aspects of Open Science. There will be modules on Data Management, FAIR Data, Open Access and Publishing, and Science Communication and Public Engagement. 

The course is live but self-paced for each module and the modules requires approximately 90 mins to 120 mins of time to complete.
