Earlier this year, the ORION partner South Moravian Centre for International Mobility, JCMM in Czech Republic granted ten projects run by students of master's and doctoral degrees from Brno universities €5.000 each for their innovative projects with open science attributes. The projects were selected from a regional call for open science projects on local societal challenges. The winning projects will be presented in a series of seminars during autumn. The ORION Training team will participate at the PhD retreat of the Helmholtz International Graduate School and the Helmholtz Graduate School of the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). This retreat is traditionally organised from PhD students for PhD students and brings together students from all the different research areas of the DKFZ.
