The ORION team ran a session on "How can art and gaming spur public engagement in Science" at the Swedish HSS 2021 conference on 6 May at 13:20 CET. The theme for this year's HSS conference was "Collaboration across borders". During the session we showcases the Artist in residency project, the art work AEON - Trajectories of CRISPR and longevity" as well as the VACCINE gaming project.

The HSS is a recurring conference that is arranged every two years to shed light on and discuss how collaboration between academia and society at large can be strengthened and developed. gather here to strengthen the exchange between the parties around collaboration and innovation. Collaboration between different sectors permeates the entire conference, from process to implementation,

During the session we showcased the Artist in residency project - AEON - Trajectories of CRISPR and longevity and the VACCINE project and discuss with participants different ways and possibilities of involving citizens in science using art and gaming.
